It's one of the significant pieces of good news for the season: the Cannes Yachting Festival is returning to the Vieux Port and Port Canto for a new edition.

After the 2020 edition was canceled due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, Europe's first in-water boat show finally returns from September 7th to 12th, 2021, to officially kick off the international boating season. Renowned for its diverse range of motorboats and sailboats manufactured by leading names in the nautical industry, the Cannes Yachting Festival has established itself over the editions as an essential event for boating enthusiasts worldwide.

MedYacht, French Design and Engineering

The entirety of the engineering and design of the MED 42 and 52 is done in France. The boats are mass-produced under license by the Galeon shipyard in Poland, ensuring the MedYacht Group an efficient and quality production chain to mass-produce the 42- and 52-foot models. A dedicated production line has been established within the shipyard to ensure the production of the MED series with significant volumes.

MedYacht has evolved the Med 45, whose prototype was presented in Cannes last year. Numerous modifications have altered the perceived image of the boat, which is now named Med 48, without losing its strong personality.

The Med45 is a contemporary open boat that emphasizes its deck layout oriented towards the exterior. This French-designed boat is supported by an excellent hull designed by Marseille-based architect Gilles Vaton.

The latest creation from the Marseille-based manufacturer, the Med 48 CJV edition, is a contemporary sporty open motorboat. It materializes Alexandre-Jacques Vernazza's ambition, the young head of Med Yacht, to establish a foothold in the high-end yachting market.
